This is my favorite sandwich to make after we go grocery shopping when the ciabatta bun is nice and fresh. Here’s how to do it:
Cut open ciabatta bread. Start cooking your tempeh bacon in a skillet. Put some cream cheese (I use tofutti) on the bun, then smash avocado into it and drizzle on a bit of honey. Optional mayo (veganaise) on the other half, or both cream cheese. Put down some lettuce and tomato, salt & pepper, add tempeh bacon and enjoy. YUM!
